How to keep fit and keep working with Pilates
We have all done it. Summer is here and a long sought after holiday is coming up. It is the time of the year that we start diet and workout, hoping that these extra pounds it took us a year to pile on can be dislodged in a couple of weeks.
Throughout the year we spend countless hours sitting in front of our computers, running around and causing havoc to our bodies. We can’t keep up with our new fitness regime, make ourselves miserable and then lapse back into our old habits.
Now Maria Krick from Libra Fitness says that she has the vital formula that can ensure that you can keep fit and stay healthy throughout the year without fail. You are not required to sentence yourself to long hours in the gym, give up your job, divorce your spouse and forget about the kids to receive the benefits of exercising! Many people believe in the no pain no gain mentality and spend too much of their precious time in gyms and on long workouts in order to stay fit.
Maria says: "I have spent long hours as a fitness enthusiast and personal trainer using weights and machines to achieve a stronger and leaner physique. Once I incorporated Pilates into my routine within weeks I saw amazing results: I started feeling stronger, my stiff muscles started to lengthen; my flexibility improved immensely and my mind and body awareness was increased. If you are pushed for time, whether you are a couch potato or an athlete, young and flexible or old and inflexible, Pilates can change your body".
Pilates strengthens and tones muscles, improves posture, flexibility, balance and creates a more streamlined shape. It provides a balanced and functional programme because all exercises need to be performed in one continuous flowing movement to achieve maximum benefits through the concentric and eccentric phases of a particular movement. Many weight and machine exercises are failing because they are based on isolating muscles and focus on working a specific area of the body rather than treating the body as a whole. Once you master the exercises you can do them anywhere; at home or in hotels while you are on holiday or on business. The only thing you will need is a mat and a comfortable area where you can stretch out at full length.
Maria says: "I have witnessed small miracles every day and have seen the weak becoming strong, the inflexible becoming flexible and people becoming happier. A stronger and leaner body gives you confidence, clarity, increases your productivity and helps you deal with daily challenges. Just believe in yourself and commit to a healthier lifestyle that you deserve!"

"Finding good staff locally in a cost effective manner is crucial to us and our success rate when using local press has been declining in the last 18 months.
We decided to give jobpatch a try as it was local, we could target the CV database and also use profiling tools to ensure we received applicants for individuals who were suitable. It worked the first time and continues to work for us as it consistently delivers high quality applicants and at a fraction of the cost of press advertising. I don't think you can find a more effective method of advertising for staff"
